FWC was the brain child of Mr Tom Franks, who is a well known and respected individual in our industry. He has been involved in the canvas trade since 1954.

Tom commenced trading as Franks Wholesale Canvas in 1995 from a small shop front in Brighton. He had retired some years earlier after he and his business partners sold their Brisbane based canvas wholesaling and fabricating company. It is a testimony to Tom's ability and determination that he could start a successful business against strong and well established opposition.

Tom relinquished his interest in FWC some years ago but is still involved in the industry at Franks Awnings and Blinds at Clontarf.

Today Franks Wholesale Canvas is owned by the Davies family. The company currently has a staff of 7.
